Good morning today, 5:45 a.m. We are going to the port to take the boat back to Surat Thani and from there a flight to Bangkok, it is going to be a hard day after so much relaxation.
We arrive in Bangkok defeated, we take a taxi and go to the famous Khao San Road to find accommodation.

Bangkok is accessible from the airport to the city centre with the Sky Train but as there are four of us it is cheaper for us to take a taxi, always with a meter.
There is a lot of traffic and it takes us quite a while to get there. We looked at a couple of accommodations and at the end we stayed in a Khao San intersection which is less noisy.

Bangkok is a megacity with almost eight million inhabitants full of life on the banks of the Chao Praya River. Although the city stands out for its temples, palaces and markets, so does its nightlife on Khao San Road, live music, market, street stalls, shops, pubs.
We dine at a street stall and enjoy the nightlife.
Flight from Surat Thani to Bangkok: 40 Euro per pax.
Accommodation: double room with bathroom and air conditioning 300 THB.
