The Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park is one of the best known and most beautiful protected areas in the Aragonese Pyrenees.
Cinca waterfall
In 1918 it became one of the first National Parks in the world, and no wonder, its geological value is incalculable. This jewel of nature is made up of some of the highest peaks in the Pyrenees, such as Monte Perdido, Cilindro Marboré, Taillón or Soum de Ramond (Añisclo peak) among others. All of them are over 3,000 metres high, walls that have become great landmarks in the history of mountaineering.
Monte Perdido Glacier
The Park, a World Heritage Site, is made up of 4 main valleys or sectors: Pineta, Ordesa, Añisclo and Escuaín.

Accommodation
In this area there are many options when it comes to accommodation: rural houses, flats, hotels and campsites, among others.
Casa Notario
Casa Notario
In the Ordesa sector we recommend Casa Notario. Located in Asín de Broto, a small town at the end of the road that you will fall in love with.
Views from our window at Casa Notario
At Casa Notario you have the option of booking a flat or rooms (basic double with bathroom 40€/night). They have kitchens for communal use, as well as a barbecue and dining room. If you don't feel like cooking don't worry they have a bar/restaurant. The views and the staff are exceptional, judge for yourselves.
Casa Notario
In the Añisclo/ Escuaín sector we recommend Hotel Cinca. Located in Escalona, this small hotel offers rooms with bathroom and good value for money (54€/night). The patio is a very pleasant place to enjoy a good beer or some of the delicious food on offer, such as hamburgers (the Cinca burger is impressive) or salads.
Cinca hamburguer
The desserts are brutal, try the goat yoghurt and cheesecake. They offer a buffet breakfast (7€/pax) or a simpler breakfast of toast with tomato and olive oil plus coffee (8€/two people). The staff are charming.
