At 00:30 our return flight to Spain via Zurich with Swiss operated by Thai leaves. We arrive in Zurich Airport around 8 am, making an 8 hour stopover in Zurich.

We decide to go out and see the city, we meet a Greek couple who are leaving and they give us a card to get to the centre that is valid until 2 pm. They are very nice and advise us to go to eat at the Migros supermarket chain which has prepared food and tables and is also cheap.

We visit the city, it is very beautiful. We arrive by train to the Zurich Main Station. We visit Lindenhof, the most historic district of Zurich.
We arrive at Beatenplatz and visit the Giacometti murals. We walk around until we reach Urania Sternwarte.

Zurich stands out because of the number of banks. We cross the river and see the library and the Grossmünster protestant church.
We reach the statue Geiserbrunnen, here begins the lake. We go to the pier and see the boats. We approach the Opera House. There are gardens all around and we rest for a while.

We go back to the station to get a Migros and eat.
We arrive around 13:30 at the station and take a train back to the airport.

We arrive at Madrid airport at 8pm, we have two and a half hours left to get home.
Laos and Cambodia are welcoming countries with many possibilities to explore, we are sure we will be back soon.
Return flight from Madrid to Bangkok and back: 900 euros per pax.
