We get up early to get to the bus station, our next destination Quiaotou, there we start the trekking through the Tiger Leaping Gorge (according to the Chinese tradition a tiger escaped from a hunter by jumping the mighty river). It is a huge natural gorge with breathtaking views located in the Yulong Xueshan National Park.
Shangri La Bus Station
After two and a half hours, through a spectacular mountain road we arrived at our destination. It is raining quite a lot and the trail is said to get dangerous and very slippery with the rain. At the entrance of the park we are told that we cannot do the full trek because of the state of the road, however, we stop at the first hostel and they tell us that we can stop the rain.

We don't see it very clear so we decide to leave the big backpacks at the entrance hostel and take a taxi that takes us by road to Tina's Guest House.
Way from the Tina´s
After an hour and a half of walking down a steep and abrupt road full of waterfalls and waterfalls and after paying the obligatory "tolls" to cross the wooden suspension bridges we arrive at our destination.

The Yangtze roars, the noise is deafening, it is impressive, you feel very small next to it, it is really worthy.

We go back to the Tina's and as the taxi driver was waiting for us we go back to the entrance towards Quiaoutou.

It rains less so we decide to start the trekking to the Naxi village and enjoy the walk.
Cemetery
Shortly after we start we see a funeral. We continue on a beautiful road through the woods and through several villages until we reach our destination, where we stay overnight. The views are breathtaking, quiet and family atmosphere.
