It's early morning today. Good traditional oriental breakfast at the hotel. Rice porridge, rolls, dumplings, tomatoes, spicy cucumbers with onions, hard boiled eggs.
We approach the bus station and take the bus from Leshan to Ya'an.

We arrive around 10.30 am but there are no more buses for 11 am, we take the 1 pm bus. While waiting we visit a traditional, beautiful herbal pharmacy.

We arrive at 18.15 very tired, we start to note the height and is that we are almost 3,000 meters high.

We try to stop a taxi to get to the accommodation but they don't want to take us, it's not the first time this doesn't happen.

We look for accommodation and after seeing several we find one with bathroom included in the room that is quite good and seems warm. We left our backpacks and went out to visit the city.

Kangding is located between mountains and breathe Tibetan air. The nearby mountains have images and decorated with prayer flags.

The crossings of cultures and influences are palpable thanks to the route of the tea and the horses, although still it is a city in construction.
Near our accommodation there is a food market, where we buy various things for tomorrow's trip to Litang (rice and peanut bars among others).

We enter to visit the small Temple of Anjue, one of the monks tells us his story.

It's getting dark and there are lights everywhere, the commercial area is very lively. In one of the squares that has a prayer wheel there are several groups dancing, we join them.
