Bordering the province of Navarre to the west and France to the north, the valley of Ansó is the westernmost of the valleys that make up the Jacetania region.

Surprising for its nature and its villages, Ansó is one of those villages (included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Spain) that welcomes travellers and never lets them leave. The valley is part of the Valles Occidentales Natural Park and the Foces de Fago and Biniés Protected Landscape.

There are several "bordas" (restaurants) along the road from Ansó to Zuriza where you can have lunch and pools where you can refresh yourself.

In the northern part of the valley we can highlight two areas, the one closest to the Linza refuge where the highest and best known summits such as the Mesa de los Tres Reyes, Petrechema or Acherito can be found; and the Zuriza area, through which the GR11 crosses and in which the Sierra de los Alanos stands out.
